This P-40 Warhawk Flying Tigers patch features the gaping maw of a Tiger shark on the nose of the Curtiss P-40 Warhawk, just like the one on display in the Museum’s Personal Courage Wing.

About the Flying Tigers:
The American Volunteer Group (AVG) commonly known as the Flying Tigers remain one of the most recognizable fighter groups from World War II. Their nickname derived from the shark mouth nose art they painted on their Curtiss P-40 Warhawks.
