SMLT uses a 100% recycled brown paper with a subtle grain in this sketch pad. The warm brown surface gives you an instant value base to work on. Dark marks have greater depth, and white chalk highlights are brighter on this paper. The brown tone makes graphite feel richer, and charcoal appear more natural.
