Liz Martone’s work shows an appreciation for timeless crafts with a modern approach. Martone’s BFA in Illustration from Syracuse University formalized her passion for the arts and continues to influence her work today. Moving beyond two-dimensional drawing Liz started to experiment with different mediums to showcase her love of craft and color. “Over the years my pen lines started turning into my grout lines and my patterns were coming alive through stained glass shapes.” Before homesteading in Maine, Martone honed her craft of mosaic in NYC where EFM Studio was founded in 2012.
